With its head office in São Paulo and industrial facilities installed in a 30.000m² area in Itupeva (SP), A. Azevedo Industry and Commerce of Oils Ltd. is the national leader in the extraction, commercialization, distribution and industrialization of vegetable oils and derivatives in Brazil.

Its activities started in 1965 with the commercialization of vegetable oils. Thirty two years later, it opened the Itupeva factory and in 1999 a chemical extraction was installed. With a focus on innovation, the company aimed the verticalization of the castor bean chain and started to produce hydrogenated castor bean oil.

To expand the range of its products, A. Azevedo begun to work with the hydrogenation of palm, soy and other oils. Another important step was the creation of an industrial plant for processing vegetable oil derivatives, with 20 different products. The pursue of excellence in each detail has lead the business towards several research partnerships, focusing on more efficient, clean and economic products.

That's how, for more than 50 years, A. Azevedo Industry and Commerce of Oils has been consolidated in the market, always valuing environmental sustainability, creating jobs and opportunities to community, driving economic growth and contributing to society.
